Product detailed description
This yellow uranium glass perfume bottle was produced in Bohemia from an original mold designed around 1930 by H. Hoffmann, during the height of the Art Deco movement. The sculptural design features elegantly modeled nude nymph figures arranged in harmonious relief, reflecting Hoffmann’s refined interpretation of classical form within the geometric language of Art Deco and showing inspiration from the sculptural aesthetics associated with René Lalique.
Made of uranium glass, commonly known as vaseline glass, the bottle exhibits vivid green fluorescence under UV light, confirming its uranium content. The large decorative stopper continues the figural theme, creating a strong display silhouette and emphasizing the sculptural depth and satin-frosted surfaces. This piece represents the Bohemian interpretation of French Art Deco luxury glass and is highly desirable for collectors of Hoffmann-period perfume bottles and uranium glass.
