Detailed information

Product detailed description

This uranium glass Art Deco tall figural vase was produced in Bohemia using original molds designed in the 1930–1939 period by H. Hoffmann. The composition depicts nymphs gathering grapes — a classic “grape harvest” theme — modeled in flowing sculptural relief. The yellow uranium glass reacts strongly under UV light, creating a vivid neon glow that accentuates the depth of the figures and the rising vertical movement of the form.

The elongated proportions and faceted pedestal base give the vase a distinctly vertical, architectural presence. The figures stretch upward with baskets and grape clusters, merging with vines that climb toward the rim, creating rhythm and harmony around the entire circumference.

Despite being made from historical molds, the piece shows crisp relief, balanced proportions and the satin surface quality associated with fine Bohemian press-molded glass. Its height, figural decoration and strong UV fluorescence make it a striking centerpiece for uranium glass and Lalique-style figural collections.
