Product detailed description
This yellow uranium glass vase was produced in Bohemia from original period molds created by H. Hoffmann around 1930, during the height of the Art Deco movement. It represents the refined sculptural aesthetic that defined European decorative glass of the era.
The floral relief decoration reveals strong French Art Deco influence, with stylized botanical forms, flowing lines, and balanced proportions characteristic of Hoffmann’s design language. While echoing the elegance associated with René Lalique, the execution remains distinctly Bohemian in character and craftsmanship.
Made of yellow uranium glass, commonly known as vaseline glass, the vase exhibits a vivid green fluorescence under UV light, confirming its uranium glass composition. The sculptural depth of the relief and the clarity of the glass enhance its presence as both a decorative object and a serious collector’s piece.
