Detailed information

Product detailed description

This yellow uranium glass perfume bottle was produced in Bohemia from an original mold designed around 1930 by H. Hoffmann, during the height of the Art Deco movement. The design features a reclining nude figure as the sculpted stopper, resting across the top of the bottle in a classic Lalique-inspired silhouette. The body of the bottle is geometric and faceted, with soft satin surfaces and clear polished accents that highlight the relief under light, demonstrating Hoffmann’s refined interpretation of French Art Deco form within Bohemian glassmaking tradition.

Made of uranium glass, commonly known as vaseline glass, the bottle exhibits vivid green fluorescence under UV light, confirming its uranium content. The contrast between the architectural bottle and the sculptural figural stopper creates a strong display presence, making this piece highly desirable for collectors of uranium glass, Lalique-influenced perfume bottles, and original Hoffmann Art Deco designs.
