Detailed information

Product detailed description

This yellow uranium glass perfume bottle was produced in Bohemia from an original mold designed around 1930 by H. Hoffmann, during the height of the Art Deco movement. The sculptural body features stylized poppy flowers modeled in flowing relief, while the stopper is formed as two delicately sculpted poppy buds, creating a cohesive botanical composition characteristic of Hoffmann’s refined Art Deco design language.

Made of uranium glass, commonly known as vaseline glass, the bottle exhibits vivid green fluorescence under UV light, confirming its uranium content. The combination of floral relief and figural poppy-bud stopper reflects the Bohemian interpretation of French Art Deco aesthetics, showing subtle inspiration from the decorative approach associated with René Lalique and making this piece highly desirable for collectors of Hoffmann-period perfume bottles and uranium glass.
