Detailed information

Product detailed description

This yellow uranium glass perfume bottle was produced in Bohemia from an original mold designed around 1930 by H. Hoffmann, during the height of the Art Deco movement. The design features a stylized female face stopper — sculpted in the spirit of French Art Deco masks — set above a stepped geometric base with strong architectural lines, reflecting Hoffmann’s interpretation of modern figural design influenced by René Lalique.

Made of uranium glass, commonly known as vaseline glass, the bottle exhibits vivid neon green fluorescence under UV light, clearly visible in the UV photograph and confirming its uranium content. The satin surfaces create beautiful contrast with the polished elements, and under UV light the glass glows intensely, highlighting the sculptural contours of the mask and the layered Deco platform, making this piece highly desirable for collectors of Hoffmann perfume bottles and uranium glass.
