Detailed information

Product detailed description

This yellow uranium glass perfume bottle was produced in Bohemia from an original mold designed around 1930 by H. Hoffmann, at the peak of the Art Deco period. The design is dominated by a monumental rectangular plaque stopper depicting the classical Dancing Graces accompanied by a musician, sculpted in deep, finely detailed relief. The architectural form of the stopper rises above a radiant fan-shaped stepped base, creating a powerful vertical composition directly inspired by the iconic figural perfume bottles of René Lalique and representing one of Hoffmann’s most recognizable and sought-after designs.

Made of uranium glass, commonly known as vaseline glass, the bottle exhibits vivid green fluorescence under UV light, confirming its uranium content. The combination of the bold geometric base and the large figural plaque stopper creates an exceptional display presence, with strong light interaction across the layered surfaces. This model is considered one of the most collectible Hoffmann perfume bottles and remains highly prized by collectors of Lalique-influenced Bohemian Art Deco glass and uranium glass.
