Product detailed description
This uranium vaseline glass Art Deco perfume bottle from the 1930s features a dramatic reclining nude lady relief designed by H. Hoffmann and crafted in Bohemia using original antique molds from the 1930–1939 period. The entire bottle is shaped as a stylized rock formation, with sharply carved planes, stepped architecture, and a sculptural geometric mass typical of the strongest interwar Bohemian Art Deco designs and Lalique-influenced aesthetics.
The satin-finished nude stopper is rendered in smooth frosted glass, contrasting beautifully with the angular “rock” body sculpted beneath her. Under UV/black light, the whole piece erupts in an intense electric-green glow, highlighting every cut, angle, and relief line — a glow highly prized by uranium and vaseline glass collectors in the United States.
A striking example of 1930s Bohemian Art Deco craftsmanship, ideal for illuminated displays, Art Deco interiors, and advanced collections focused on uranium glass and H. Hoffmann’s sculptural work.
