Uranium Vaseline Glass Art Deco Perfume Bottle 1930s H. Hoffmann – Dancing Graces Stopper UV-Glowing
Code: 9857Product detailed description
This uranium vaseline glass Art Deco perfume bottle was crafted in Bohemia from original antique molds produced during the 1930–1939 period and is made from highly UV-reactive uranium glass. The stopper features a finely sculpted four-figure scene: a seated musician accompanied by three dancing Graces, framed within an architectural panel of geometric faceting that reflects the strong sculptural vocabulary of Czech Art Deco and Lalique-style glass.
The body of the bottle is designed in a dramatic fan-shaped draped form, with sharply cut vertical flutes and stepped Art Deco geometry that catch and scatter the light even in normal daylight. Under UV/black light, both the stopper and the base ignite in a vivid neon-green fluorescence, illuminating every facet of the scene and emphasizing the crisp relief details unique to Bohemian uranium glass production of the 1930s.
A highly decorative and collector-worthy piece, this flakon stands out as an exceptional example of interwar Czech craftsmanship, ideal for illuminated display cabinets, Art Deco interiors, and collections focused on uranium glass, H. Hoffmann designs, and Lalique-style sculptural relief.
